IV year B.Sc. students of nursing held an in service education programme on `Reproductive Child Health: Motherhood Fulfillment of Women’s Life.” The programme was inaugurated by the Chief Guest, Mrs. Jasmine Sarita Vas, Principal, Father Muller School of Nursing, Mangaluru. Prof. Irene Veigas, Principal, Sahyadri College of Nursing, presided over the function.

Various sessions were engaged by the resource persons after the formal function of the programme. Mrs. Jasmine Sarita Vas spoke on “Introduction to Reproductive Child Health,” followed by Mr. Manish Kumar, HOD, Child Health Nursing, Sahyadri College of Nursing, addressing the topic “Care of Children with Malnutrition and Diarrheal Disease –A Holistic Approach.”

Principal, Prof. (Mrs.) Irene Veigas, Sahyadri College of Nursing, along with Prof. Savitha Pramilda Cutinho, HOD, OBG Department and Ms. Sonia Sequeira, Lecturer, Department of Community Health Nursing, Father Muller College of Nursing, engaged sessions on gynaecological problems in women at the end of their reproductive years.

Sr. Winnifred D’Souza, Principal, Father Muller College of Nursing, was the Chief Guest at the valedictory with Dr. Manjunath Bhandary, Chairman, Bhandary Foundation presiding over the function.
