Mr. Manjunath Bhandary contested Parliamentary Election
Mr. Manjunath Bhandary, Chairman, Bhandary Foundation and Sahyadri Educational Institutions contested the 16th Loksabha elections from Shimoga constituency representing Indian National Congress. His prime opposite candidates were Mr. Yediyurappa, former Chief Minister, Govt. of Karnataka and Mrs. Geetha Shivrajkumar, daughter of late Mr. Bangarappa. While sharing his experiences of election campaign with faculty members, he said that he was overwhelmed by the emotional support extended by the people across all section of the society especially the poorest of poor. He also expressed his zeal to work with the people of the constituency for the overall development.
