Mr. Manjunath Bhandary, Chairman, BhandaryFoundation was invited as the Chief Guest for the Annual College Day of SDM Pre-University College, Ujire. While addressing the gathering, he emphasised on the criticality of taking right decision at the right time and at the right direction which shall lay the foundation for the student’s future. He also highlighted that Education is a mode of transferring knowledge & information which should be balanced well between the two. He stimulated the students by mentioning that each individual has a unique feature of creativity which should be carried throughout the life and career. He urged the student community to be open-minded in order to acquire knowledge which is a continuous process and each one should enjoy this process. Mr. Bhandary also applauded the student achievers in different fields.

Prof. Dinesh Chowta presided over the function and he appreciated Sahyadri College of Engineering & Management for driving unique programs like SPSS, SSTH and so on. He insisted on a thorough analysis that the students should undertake before making a choice of the college or even the professional course.
