Dr. Patel is a member of Board of Management, University of Horticulture Science, Bagalkot and Syndicate Member, Kuvempu University, Shimoga.

Dr. Patel expressed his desire to visit and view the innovative labs, in-house start-ups and student-centric initiatives of Sahyadri. On having visited these, he was appreciative of the unique education set-up. He said that he has never seen an institution of such a magnitude. Last but not least, Dr. Patel was happy he took time to visit and lauded the Chairman on his excellent commitment towards building such a great institute.

The feedback given by Dr. Patel was extremely gratifying, and was accepted very well. Needless to say, like many esteemed guests in the past, Dr. Patel has left an impression that Sahyadri will remember in the years to come.
