Being the President of D. K. Amateur Athletic Association, Mr. Bhandary successfully conducted the 19th Federation Cup – National Senior Athletics Championship 2015 will be held in Mangaluru between April 30 to May 4. More than 1000 athletes of national and international fame are expected to participate in the 5-day event. This is the first time that the Federation Cup is being hosted in the state of Karnataka.

The 19th Federation Cup was organized jointly by the Dakshina Kannada Athletic Association and Karnataka Amateur Athletic Association along with the district administration. This championship acts as a selection for the participants to be selected to represent the nation in international competitions.
